I am a Computer IT Professional and Software Engineer with over 25 years experience, much of it in networking. I've been a successful IT Manager, Project Mananger and Systems Administrator. I've worked for startups and for industry leaders like The Walt Disney Company, Red Hat Inc., Bayer Pharmaceuticals, Digital Equipment Corporation. Although I'm experienced in many platforms, I have a passion for Linux and Open Source, which I've been involved with since it's start in 1992, and my old time friend VAX/VMS. I am a big fan of, and drive regularly, a Caterham Super Seven sports car. I've owned two in my lifetime, and you can read all about my experiences online. I also helped to create the USA specific mailing list for discussing the Lotus and Caterham Seven automobiles.

I am the original author of the internet FAQ for "The Prisoner" TV series. I turned maintenance over to Patrick J. LoPresti, who then carved it up into a different animal that I am not happy with. It is his version that now appears in the FAQ system, although mine still appears on some sites (just do an internet search for "Keith G Barrett" to find them). Here are the FAQs:

I was an original, heavy contributor to the internet MST3k FAQ. The whole section describing a studio tour was submitted by me. This FAQ went through some hardships when the main author became unresponsive and parallel efforts to reate a new one occured. Here is the original:
